This talk will be a 45 minutes case-study type presentation of the creation of the Philadelphia Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion.  It will detail the various failures and successes of a for-profit museum model with a special focus on the importance of the choosing when to fight and when to fold.  The new museum was immediately thrown into legal and financial chaos when misdoings of an initial partner came to light.  This  talk details the uncovering of embezzlement, fraud, etc. and what options exist when these types of misdoings are discovered
