April 8th is “Opening Day” for many of the region’s parks and trails. That means it is time for a little “spring cleaning” on the Greenway. We’ll be sprucing up the Port Richmond Trail and Pulaski Park. Bring along the whole family, even your dog! Our friends at Philadelphia Parks and Recreation and Bridesburg Community Action Alliance are also doing cleanups at Monkiewicz Playground and Bridesburg Recreation Center. We need as many helpers as possible at all locations! We’ll meet at Pulaski Park at 10am.

**We’ll also be having a dog costume contest with our friends from Monk’s Dog Run, so bring your pups all dressed up and prizes will be awarded to the most creative and cute outfits!
