Join us as were hear from the 2023 Mayoral Candidates and learn of their vision for the City of Philadelphia.
Sponsored by the Northeast Times and the GNPCC Government Affairs Committee, the structured debate will be informative and allow attendees to understand the candidates' vision for Northeast Philadelphia and citywide.
Please enter campus at the Frankford Avenue entrance onto Stevenson Lane for parking. Proceed straight and turn left into the Campus Center parking lot. After parking, proceed to the entrance of the Campus Center. For guests requiring accessibility accommodations, after entering the Campus Center parking lot please proceed forward and turn right to access the rear entrance of the Campus Center.

Meet the Moderators
Tom Waring, Editor, Northeast Times
Tom Waring has worked for the Northeast Times for 26 years, 18 as a reporter and eight as an editor. He grew up in Oxford Circle and graduated from St. Martin of Tours, St. Joseph's Prep, and Penn State. He is on the Northeast Philadelphia Hall of Fame Committee, is treasurer of the Friends of Holmesburg Library, a member of the Holmesburg Civic Association, and is block captain for the 3400 block of Hartel Ave. He has served on committees at St. Martin's and formerly served on the St. Hubert advisory board. Other newspapers he worked for include the Bucks County Courier Times and Trentonian.

Dan McElhatton is an attorney with the Law Offices of Daniel P. McElhatton, PC. Mr. McElhatton served as a Philadelphia City Council member from 1992 to 1996. He is also a longtime member of the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce (among many organizations) and most recently served as Chair of the Board of Directors. He has previously served as Cahir of the Board of Trustees of Community College of Philadelphia. Dan's practice includes significant experience with employment-related matters, including handling age, ADA, ADEA, and FMLA cases. He has tried numerous cases to jury verdicts and has argued appeals in appellate courts on State and federal levels. In May 2016, he prevailed in a precedent-setting case in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.Date and Time
